About Us

The ASPPA Benefits Council (ABC) of Central Texas is a regional group of local retirement industry professionals that have an interest in sponsoring continuing education events and networking opportunities to those who are already involved, or wish to get involved, in the retirement industry. Our goal is to provide a relaxed, affordable and friendly environment in which industry professionals can share knowledge and ideas. Our events are open to all retirement industry professionals including Administrative Service Providers, Plan Sponsors, Advisors, Attorneys and CPAs. The ABC of Central Texas is an open council where there are no annual membership dues, but instead, affordable fees are charged for the events that you attend.

ASPPA, and its three sister organizations – ACOPA, NTSA and NAPA – comprise the American Retirement Association, the premier national organization for retirement plan professionals in the industry.  Based in the Washington, D.C. area, ASPPA is a non-profit professional organization with two major goals: to educate retirement plan professionals, and to create a framework of public policy that gives every working American the ability to have a comfortable retirement.  To learn more about ASPPA please visit their website at www.asppa.org.
